We stayed there for two nights. We booked an apartment with one bedroom. The apartment was a bit old fashioned but nice. The people were overall nice and helpful. Nothing to complain about. recommendable. ;-)
My daughter and I stayed in a one bedroom executive suite. The spacious rooms had all the facilities we required for a week's stay. We were so comfortable, we decided to stay on for two extra days. The hotel is a short walk from Chid Lom BTS station and a large department store. We used the gym and the pool, both of which were up to a fine standard. All staff were friendly and helpful, meeting our needs promptly.
Overall good, however disappointed that we had to pay for use of pc and additional printing costs, that did not work correctly. Hotel was good location and very friendly and courteous staff. Facilities good apart from PC. Breakfast excellent and a good choice
Room is big, clean and the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Old-fashioned rooms, esp for young people, only platinum rooms are renovated. The water pressure is not enough for good shower.
Nice view of the us Ambassador's Garden
Not enough dining in the hotel. Very limited room service menu
We really liked the location and found it to be good value for money> If I have to come to Bangkok next time I would definitely like to stay at the hotel again
Not being able to go from one floor to the other, also having no late room service especially if you have small children can be a problem. If the breakfast timings can be increased it would be better as many teenagers get up late in the morning.
I stayed at Bliston Suwan for 3 nights. The location is good as it is nearby the chitlom bts station and Central Department Store. It located nearby residential area and an international school, it is quiet but convenience. The room is spacious and got dining area and sitting area with open kitchen. Utensil is good enough for simple reheating or fast food. As I stayed at the 15/F and I think this floor is not yet renovated, therefore, a bit old for the furniture. I'd pay a bit more to stay in other refurnished floor - platinum executive floor for better facilities. Especially if the water pressure of shower would be stronger. The staff is helpful and honest as I left my cell phone at pool and they track me down and return it to me! Free Wifi and it is steady all the time.
The water pressure of shower in my room is weak though they sent some technician, they cannot fix it. It is because my room is not renewed and re-furnished. I asked if they can arrange another room with better water pressure which I will pay extra if needed. They said all rooms in the building are same with weak water pressure. I tried the sauna and shower at gym and pool floor and it was in normal water pressure. Apparently, it is not true for they told me. The breakfast variety is basic and simple which I have no complain as it includes in the room rate. In addition, they charged me b$60 for printing out 2 pages of boarding pass which I think they should waive it for guest resident.
The hotel is in a quiet area, next to a park and is a very good hotel in which to spend a week or so. The breakfast selection is fine and the meals from the in-house restaurant were also of good quality. I have no complaints.
The location of the hotel was ideal. Being located next to the Chitlom Skytrain - even if the taxi drivers didn't know the location of the hotel, when you mentioned the Chitlom BTS station, you were delivered right to the hotel. We had a very large bedroom, as well as a sitting room (built as a residence) which gave us extra space for the 4 nights stay. Every day we enjoyed the bountiful breakfast, and the rooftop pool after sightseeing. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Great hotel and very well maintained.
We stayed 2 times, 1st time 2 nights in 10th floor and 2nd time 6 nights in 12th floor. Our accomodation was platinum suite, which we liked very much. Appartment in 10th floor was in better condition, since it had been renowated, while 12th floor is apparently not renowated. 12th floor design was better, but it is starting to show a little bit of wear. Mattress was considerably better Foodbyphone (Catalogue provided by the hotel) service was excellent and fully accomodated by the hotel. Also hotel restaurant was good, allthough expensive. Also the small hotel shop in the parrking garage was excellent idea! Location was excellent near nightlife and BTS-station, allthough when coming from the airport it was hard to find.
Pool was cold in December. Some of the gym equipment were broken, and heart rate monitors were missing. Mattress in 12th floor was not at the the level of the rest of the hotel. 10th floor mattress was good.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Bathrooms are getting a little old (though everything worked.)
I love the one bedroom platinum suite the most. I love the decoration and the staff very helpful, and they speak fluent english!!!
Very very very very old room
I have to say we were surprised at how large and well equipped the room was. We got a Superior One-bedroom apartment and you could literaly live there if you wanted. We just stayed one night so it was a bit wasted on us. I would say perfect for honeymooners who want to be able to stay in the room indefinately and save on food by eating in. The staff were very friendly also--Thai courtesy. It is in the shopping district, so the cultural and nightlife side of Bangkok are a little far away, but if you like shopping you are perfectly situated..
They do not have a shuttle to the airport. A "limosine" will charge about $40 to the airport but they will get a regular mater taxi for you that charges a fraction of that. If you like it is very close to the train.
Residences were large and well cared for. Everything about the room was really great.
that we had to depart.
